Sean Gaffney

Vice President of Construction

Sean is a second-generation Steamfitter that comes from a long line of craftsmen and entrepreneurs who taught him the value of hard work and imbued him with the sense that it isn’t enough to merely perform a craft trade, but to strive to do it better than anyone else.
Sean oversees all essential field employees, as well as construction schedules, to ensure that all projects contracted with GEM Mechanical are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality available in the industry.
He is responsible for manpower, field-to-office coordination, and client satisfaction. Sean has 16 years of construction experience and holds various licenses and certificates for Plumbing, HVAC, and welding. He is a journeyman Steamfitter trained at Local 420. Sean holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Project Management from Colorado State University, and a certificate in Construction Management from Temple University, Fox School of Business. In addition, Sean completed the Mechanical Contractors Association, Project Management program and is OSHA 30 certified.
